There was disturbing scenes in Paris this morning as Paul Murphy was rushed to Beaujon hospital with a severe dislocated shoulder.

Bystanders stated Paul had just finished posting to Facebook about being the best fans in the world. He then reached over his shoulder to pat himself on the back, when disaster struck. "It happened out of no where", said Pauls mate Harry. "We were all singing The Paul McGrath song when we heard the pop, followed by excruciating screams from Paul"

Paul is recovering in his camper van with his right arm in a sling. Paul missed out on the game against Sweden but aims to be back in action for Saturday against Belgium. "I've no idea what way the game ended, but I don't care. In dying to get on the lash again with the lads for the Bulgaria game Saturday..... HON de Irish!!!"

FIFA have issued warning to Irish fans to try avoid boasting so much about the 'best fans in the world' title they seem to have adopted.

We wish Paul a speedy recovery. The dumb bastard.
