This afternoon, mere seconds after Conor Mcgregor put his statement on Facebook, word came from Wikipedia HQ that Britain tried to change his nationality to British.
Wikipedia moderators were quick to find and stop the hackers who later turned out to be the British government themselves.
They wouldn't answer any questions from the media. This kind of behavior is all too common when it comes to sporting hero's from Rory Mcilroy to Jason McAteer.
Thankfully though they were stopped before they could legally take our greatest athlete. The softies that we are we did give them Eamon Dunphy and Bono.
