Emotions are high in Hackballscross this evening as a farmers pride and joy is stolen in broad day light.

The pig was taken around dinner time which in Fintans case is "When ever she has it ready, around 1' a clawck." A champion breed pig only 3 months old. "Awwk I'm not happy one bit so I'm nawt, I win 'The little darling piglet' competition every year and i do rub it in all the lads face's so i do, its great craic." But with the competition only days away, it isn't looking good for Fintan McNamee.

"I know who it is too, its that fella Delaney from the next field. Oh hes a bad boy. Always robbin' milk from the doors, oh a right 'trouble maker' hey."

We're not going to accuse the young man, but if anyone knows where Fintan's champion piglet is please let either Fintan or the local Gardai know.
